An insulated lunch bag is a foil-faced lining inside a fabric shell, and what it does is slow the exchange of heat, not run a fridge. With a frozen block in the bag a packed lunch stays cold through a morning; without one, on a warm day, it does not, and no lining changes that. The two insulated pieces here are cut for different hands: the kids' bag is sized to sit inside or beside a school backpack and comes in the same prints as the small packs, while the tote is a work bag with a shoulder handle, sized for a container and a bottle standing upright. The beach tote is the outlier of the whole catalogue and is on this shelf because it has nowhere else to be.

How long will an abshoo insulated lunch bag keep your packed lunch cold?

Through a school morning with a frozen block or a frozen drink in it. The lining slows heat rather than removing it, so the honest number depends on the room the bag spends the morning in: on a peg in a cool corridor, comfortably until lunch; in a warm classroom with nothing frozen inside, not long enough.

Will the abshoo lunch bag fit inside your school backpack?

The kids' bag is cut for it, and from the 14.2-inch backpack upward it goes inside lying flat. The tote is a work bag with a shoulder handle and it is meant to be carried in its own right rather than packed inside something else.

Can you wipe out an abshoo lunch bag after a spill?

That is what the foil-faced lining is for. A damp cloth, a little washing-up liquid, then left open to dry overnight. What it will not survive is a washing machine: the lining is bonded to the shell and a drum separates the two.
