Clear bags exist because somebody at a gate has to see inside without opening anything, and they are bought for two different gates. A stadium gate works to a published number: the league rule is a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, and it says in the same paragraph that no buckle, grommet, hardware or decoration may conceal any part of the bag. Three of the bags on this shelf are cut to that box. A school gate works to a district policy instead, and those are written locally. Will the trim on your abshoo clear bag stop it being allowed in?

It should not. The rule bans hardware or decoration that conceals part of the bag, and bound edges and straps are not that; a gate wants a clear view of the compartments. What does cause an argument is an opaque base panel or a decorative front pocket, and the bags cut for stadium use here have neither.
