Terms of Use
abshoo.net is the catalogue of abshoo school bags. It is a place to read how big a bag is and what is inside it before you buy it. It is not a shop till.
Where the sale happens
Payment, delivery and returns happen at checkout with our retail partner, not on this site. They set the price you pay, they hold the stock, they ship it, and their returns policy is the one that applies to the parcel.
How to read a price here
A figure on this site is the one from our last catalogue update, and it can move between updates. Where the two disagree, the till is right. A bag with no live offer is marked unavailable instead of carrying a stale number, and it leaves the site at the next build.
How to read a size
A bag here is described three ways and they answer different questions. The litre figure is how much goes in. The height in inches is how much back it covers, which is what decides whether a bag suits a six-year-old or a sixteen-year-old. The three measurements together, height and width and depth, are what a stadium gate or a locker cares about. Where a bag comes in two heights, the card says so and the two are the same bag at two scales.
How to read an age range
An age on a card comes from the product data and it describes the bag, not the child. It is a shorthand for the height and the strap adjustment, and a tall seven-year-old is often better off in the bag marked for eight. Use the inches, not the number of birthdays.
How to read a laptop size
Where a bag names a laptop size, that is the diagonal of the largest machine the padded sleeve is built for. A fifteen-point-six-inch sleeve holds a fifteen-point-six-inch laptop and it does not hold a seventeen; a bag with no sleeve named has no sleeve. Nothing on this site says a sleeve makes a bag safe to drop.
What we do not promise
Nothing here is medical advice, and no page on this site says that a bag prevents back pain, corrects a posture or protects a spine. The pages describe how a bag is built and what public guidance says about how much a child should carry. What that means for one child is between you, the child and, where it matters, a clinician.
Bag rules at a gate
Where a page describes a clear-bag rule, it quotes the rule as published and links to it. Rules are set by the venue and they change; a stadium, a school district or an arena may be stricter than the policy we quote, and the one that counts is the one on their own website on the day you go.
The pictures and the words
The photographs and the text on this site are ours or our suppliers'. Take a paragraph for a quote with a link back and we will not mind; take the catalogue wholesale and we will.
